On the Newman CP there's a big white "thing" above the rear roller door on the passenger side. This has me stumped and I can't think of what it might be for??
I kind of like those red Light tankers, I hope FESA gives us a 3rd light tanker and not the shire of Mundaring :-P. Yes we can have a red one, we're dual registered!

Well for those of you who haven't been, or are planning on attending again, and want to meet up, I'm hoping to get there around 10ish and will meet up with 5001020 sometime after that. Will check here before I go, if you want to meet up, PM me your number and I'll send you a message of the time when we have one.

The amount of funding from these games would have to be a fair amount. Fesa pays all travel for the teams, road or airfares, as well as accomodation. Even the outer metro/country brigades get accomodation paid

I'm not sure that's how it works? I thought only Mundaring VFRS got the red trucks because they're FRS rather than BFS?

Yeah I don't know, but I do know we're dual registered, so we're supposed to be able to get onto any of the FRS courses, and things like drive under operational conditions, and a couple of others that are only open to FRS. We're also only allowed 2 crew members in our Light Tankers rather than the BFS 3, and we call up 6AR rather than 6IP.

bfs 3???
is ur brigade still in the 90s i thought u wernt allowed that for the past 4 years ive been in the brigade anyways.......

i think roleystone might be dual registered coz theyve got a bfs and frs??? unless its 2 different stations

i thought fesa had some funding they had all ther coporate services n hr ppl ther tellin us bout ther trucks.

I know when I went out and Kalamunda were with us they had 3 in their light tanker and I was told that it was because they are only BFS, where as because we were dual registered, and also came under FESA we were only allowed 2

We're all part of FESA now  I suspect (like some other brigades) Kalamunda just aren't happy with the "2 to a light tanker" rule and are bucking it.

maybe its coz theyve had those landrovers for a while and they are 3 seaters
the toyotas although they have 3 seats they have a clear placard on the dash saying only to be used for 1 passenger.

Our LT has a metal plate fixed to the dashboard saying two only.

Plus there isnt a seat for a second passenger or seat belt.

Have an accident and i am sure that they will be in a bit of poo.
