According to a report some months ago in the Community newspaper, about the new station nearing completion and the plans for its opening, Ellenbrook will service areas including Belhus, Bullsbrook, Ellenbrook (including Morgan Fields and Vale estates), Henley Brook, Lexia, The Vines, Upper Swan, Walyunga National Park, Whiteman (including Whiteman Park), Brigadoon, Baskerville and Millendon, and will ease the burden of Ballajura, Kiara and Midland stations.

Ellenbrook Station
I have been listening to channel 54 (Midland) tonight and i thought i heard a few calls to/from the new Ellenbrook station and vehicles. Can anyone confirm if Ellenbrook station is now up and running, and if so, what their station/vehicle call sign will be. I assume it will be HE***, but one should never assume anything

Found the following page on the WAPol website. Says opening in April '07, with up to 16 officers when 'fully operational'

Listening to channel 54 (Midland) and just heard VKI talking to HE101 and dispatching jobs for Ellenbrook and The Vines. Will assume therefore that Ellenbrook Station is HE100 and vehicles are HE***.

Whilst in Midland today saw HE101. It's a BA Falcon ute w/ secure pod... so the Omega i saw the other day (above) must have been HE102.auntys_eyes wrote:Saw one of the HE cars driving along Middle Swan Road a couple of days ago. May have been HE101? Nice new fully marked VE Omega.
