American Ambos

Hey guys new here just thought i would get yr opinion on this.
I know SJA has the golden handshake deals with mercedes but what would you guys think of SJA using american style ambos. Ive had a look on the net at quite a few designs and they look mint. they would be awesome to work out of. I know the price issue may be an issue but why not have a 60/30 scale merc/chev etc?

There's at least one based on a Ford in Busselton I believe - saw it when it was being marked up.. was causing all sorts of challeges for the signwriters.

Wont happen to expensive and the cab chassis are not available anymore atm so unless you can dig a cab chassis up which would be extremely hard your stuck.

Also cost of repairs availablity of parts etc etc. Had mass problems over east with the gmc cab chassis vehicles most had brake failures, parts hard to get hold of, running costs high. I think all states will stick with merc and vw from now on unless the cab chassis are imported againa AND are cheap
