Yeah it was a 4th alarm. A heap of pumps turned out to it from as far as Hope Valley I believe. No houses ever came under threat while I was listening to it for 6 hours so I didnt film it.

we got called out about 3 hours after it started. Baldivis got called pretty quickly

Funny how on New Years in the exact same place we got called out immediately and this time baldivis did.. keeps swapping around each time.

Baldivis and the rocky brigades have quite a good working relationship. Alot like Kwinana and sth kwinana. The difference with this and the new years fire was that Hope Valley was the primary pump so they would have requested you guys. Today Rockingham 1st and 2nd were turned out as primary and back up so they would have asked for baldivis. I drove past 20 mins after it started and had grown quite quickly. Could go as uni didnt want the day off.

neither did my uni :(
But i spent time with the gf instead :D
Thats why we want a good relationship with HV and once we start arranging things then hopefully it will come about.

Rockingham deputy was running the shots wasnt he ? That would have also played a role.

yeah
started as rocko 1st callin it 2nd alarm
rocko 2nd turned out but took a while they made it third alarm then kwinana got turned out rocko deputy got off at scene called for baldivis and icv to be paged and got all vehicles thats when i stopped listenin couldnt see smoke from my crib

an hour or 2 went by and i was due to meet up wit the mrs typically just as im about to leave the pager goes off after like 3 hours of the fire running  i could clearly see the smoke
the fire wasnt that big imo the hanging smoke just made it look that way
el capitano rang me even and asked me coz usually im first 1 to call up lol
but had other commitments  first one ive missed when im available

drove past it on the way to the cinemas and ther was sooooooo many runner neckers tryin o get onto alumina rd but av207 i think had it blocked and the helitacs 670,671 wer fillin up from small ponds across from the council chambers

Got to spend time with mine as well. Thought it would be a bit harsh to go considering she had come up from albany for the weekend. And had soooo much ( not ) to learn at uni

1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Alarm.
These have been mentioned quite regularly. What do they mean?
