Marked VE Commodore

Post by Turbo »

Spotted on Warwick Rd the other day.

A brand spankers VE with police markings. Didnt have lights or call sign but it did have "Police" and the blue checker all over it. And it looked sweet!

Anyone else seen one? If so pics?

Hi Turbo,

Sounds like that one WAPOL had on evaluation. I'm still yet to see it with my own eyes.

I have a pic of a clean VE with no markings taken at a WA Holden dealer.

Here's a couple of pics taken by a mate from SAPOL. Andrew Scutter for those you know him:

Looks like a 4WD Commodore to me.. :? I think they look horrible. At least they have 16" wheels.

herrgott, thanks for your valuable post....if you can point me in the direction of some WAPOL VE's I'd be forever in debt to you..

Tom, Head up Mitchell Freeway in the direction of the Western Australian Police Academy. When you get there, head to the traffic section. It's located next to the basketball court in the southern section of the site. There's a big compound there where they store cars. Probably because it's the traffic training unit, but nevermind that small detail. Point your chin up so that you're looking in front of you, and about four or five bays up from the superindent's parking bay is a VE commodore.

My point re: searching for another thread is to avoid having twice or thrice the amount of threads necessary to locate information. Just put all your VE commodore stuff into that one we had before.
But hey, if you're the kind with your 700-odd posts that likes to spend all day looking on warsug for stuff... be my guest.
