Police Bike Down...

At about 6:30pm tonight a police officer on a bike attempted to pull over a Suzuki Vitara for doing a burnout at the Roe Hwy/Gt Eastern Hwy intersection. After the mike bike pulled behind it, the vehicle slammed on the brakes causing the police officer to ram up the back of it. The Vitara then took off.

Police flooded the area and eventually pulled the Suzuki over taking one male into custody.

The policeman was initially thought to have a broken leg but it seems only minor now. Bike has cosmetic damage.

Hope the officer recovers soon.
