Radio Frequency Database
Radio Frequency Database
Hi.
I have recently been working on a Radio frequency database for Australia. More info on it can be found at http://www.ausfreq.net/. Please feel free to start adding frequencies into the database. More cosmetic changes will be made over time. If anyone is good at Graphic design please feel free to pm/email me. Nightsky at westnet dot com dot au
The Database is created from user added frequecies so it is relying on input from people all over australia.
Thanks

Well, yeah, it does but the ACMA database just shows the owner and location of a frequency, not what it's used for.WPXZBP wrote:Isn't this a re-making of the wheel? The ACMA have an online database here.
I hope it works well and wish you the best for your endeavour though!

Sure it's mentioned elsewhere, but there is already an irc channel for this group - being #radioscanner on the Austnet (www.austnet.org) IRC network. Closest server is irc.iinet.net.auwnm wrote:I have also added an IRC server at irc.ausfreq.net port 6667 if anyone is interested. Keep up to date with the latest happenings etc.

Is it just me, or did this site (post # 1) not last very long?
