They "need some sort of air support, properties about to be under threat"

Dm north east says urgent, have one lt in front of the fire !!!!!

Looks like the Red Hill fire isn't too far from Jane Brook and Stratton - both pretty densely packed suburbs...

Funny living in the bush - I'm probably about 6kms from Red Hill one but can't see anything for the trees here.

I'd guess about 5kms from Whiteman park and 10Kms from Red Hill.

Not my roster week! I assume that they have a crew at Red Hill, depending on how late it goes I may get a call for crew change later on.
