Isn't that interesting coz I've found the exact opposite in my 2003 BA. I'm no leadfoot but sometimes the car scoots off from a standing start a little quicker than I expected, so I'd say mine certainly isn't sluggish
However, one of the things I've noticed with some of the Series 1 and Series 2 BAs here at work is how much different they are to drive than my own car. You'd think that a BA is a BA, but it doesn't seem to be the case. My manager's car handles like a wet sponge and has only done 17,000km.
