DPaW and DFES radios and channels

Post by Damo1997 »

Hey everyone, I’ve got a few questions about DPaW and DFES radio use:

What channels does DPaW typically use for fireground operations and prescribed burns is it 602-653?

Is the current DFES/DPaW channel frequency list (for channels 101–653) still accurate?

Are DFES or DPaW planning to move to encrypted or digital radio systems anytime soon?

Dbca tend to use Uhf Cb on the fireground but also use the 500-600 channels also

At this stage it is all accurate for both dfes and dbca. all metro vehicles are currently fitted with digital radios but still all analogue only.

Is there a particular uhf cb channel they normally use?
