Hi guys

First post for me

Just wondering if anyone can tell me if the SES freqs in the link below are still valid?
Also, does anybody know the CTCSS tones?

I have an SRM9000 and I want to build up a bit of a codeplug for it.

yes they are still valid you can put the frequencies into your srm9000 as rx an leave tx blank it will still recieve without ctcss tones (someone can correct me if im wrong)

Thanks for that mate. I put them all in a scan group with TX inhibit so hopefully it's all good.

Yep no CTCSS required for listening. Shouldn't be any pirates on those freqs transmitting without a tone.

So I've popped all those freqs in to a scan group on the SRM9000 and so far I haven't heard anything?

In saying that I am a FIFO worker and only flick the radio on on my r&r when I'm out in my 4wd.

I don't think much happens if there are no storms and such around other than training so it would be pretty quiet.

Pirates are not usually the problem when monitoring. it's other licenced users along with harminics and the noise floor which make receiving near impossible at times.

Try listening at night maybe between 1930-2130 as that's when most units are out training.
