not sure because it was on the Midland ch at the time. But according to my street directory there is no Boya Primary School. So I guess it must be Boyare Primary in Mirrabooka. But its odd that it came over the Midland channel and not the Mirrabooka channel.

Up until yesterday I did not know there was a town in WA called Boya which would be in the Midland police district the closet school according to whereis.com.au is Helena Valley Primary school which is 2.06km away from the centre of Boya unless they have built a school there last year and not updated the whereis website to include it.

unfortunate that the Leda one has seemed to inspire someone else. You honestly wouldn't believe some of the stuff that happens around schools, but more often than not we catch these bastards. These guys WILL get caught.

For those of you who may not have seen the news tonight the POI in relation to the attempted abduction in Leda have not been charged as it was only meant as a PRANK.

Good way to try to get away with something!
next time I deal with an offender I might pull a knife on them.

We're obviously don't have the full facts, so we can't really make an informed decision, but gut instinct says that the men should have been charged with something. Pity there's not something in the criminal code like an offence of "being a complete idiot."

To me I believe the police have failed to do there job in this case. They should charge the guys involved and let the courts decide wether or not it was a PRANK.

Try saying that with 50,000 volts racing thru your system ;)

That’s right, we don’t have all the facts. Did they go far enough to commit an actual offence?

I am sure the investigating officers have examined ALL the evidence at hand (not just the media released hype) and have come to the correct conclusion. Maybe there needs to be a special law made for those IDIOTS as Zebedee said.
I was there when they flicked the switch

i agree about it being a so called "prank"-sheisser
I reckon it could be used as a loop hole in the future for other low lives trying to abduct kids.

Thats why I believe they should be charged. It has now given pedophiles a loophole to escape being charged. When the police go to apprehend the suspect the can simply say "sorry officer I had no intention of abducting that child it was just meant as a prank" I wonder how many pedophiles will try to abduct children now knowing they can say it was a prank and might actually get off. The prank would have cost tax payers money while the police needed to invistagate the case to find out that it was a prank. Even if it was meant as a prank shouldnt the pranksters pay for the cost of investigating the allegations of attempted abduction

Exactly.

And what about the victim, how do you justify these sick {people} getting away with it while leaving a profound effect on the victim, show me the Justice in this.

Thats why the least they should do is make them foot the bill.
