And once again the "us vs them" monster raises its head.

Discussions about who's better than who, or which brigade did what, or whether career guys are complaining about vollies, or vollies complaining about FESA, or any of those kinds of topics are not welcome on WARSUG - not in this thread, or any other.

If you don't agree with a decision that someone in FESA has made, or you're narky about why some other mob were turned out and you weren't, please address that within your brigade hierarchy. We don't want to hear about it on here. Nobody here can do anything about it, so if you're wanting action taken, you're asking in the wrong place. If you're just having a vent, we don't want to hear that either. (Plus it makes the venter look unprofessional and silly).

Further posts along these lines that are deemed to be unacceptable will be removed by the moderation team.

Yanchep VFRS and Wanneroo 4.4R had an unusual job this morning. Pit lane at Barbagallo Archway is a lake :) They've been using the trucks to pump water out of the drains...

(personally I think Event 1 of the morning should have been in rowboats :P )

I heard similar earlier today before lunch as well, 6AR ignored it which is normal.
"VKI, NJ050 will you be attending the job?"
"Negative VKI, my desk is bolted to the floor".

the fesa radios (tait mobiles) will have a burst of GPS data at the end of a over if the radio hasnt transmitted for more than 5 mins.

the portables do not. neither would a personal radio programmed to fesa's channels.

do you recall hearing the burst of data?

Not when I heard it, but the talk was loud and proud, not someone where someone would just bump the button.

mate dont worry i wasnt the happiest when we rocked up and the first order was '' grab those hoses and walk till ya find the end'' lol

Sorry about that but we really did appreciate your help, plus would you have been even more unhappy if you were asked to take the hoses and carry them in about 200-250m? Total length was 320m.
Thanks again
