Wouldn't it be reasonable to say that the ability of getting people, trucks and equipment as fast as possible to any fire would reduce the severity and damage? No politics at all. I am just amazed at the number of fires that are totally lost here.

Wouldn't have anything to do with the lack of staff, vehicles and having the slowest fire service in Australia.
