I am unsure If there is a topic already for this I couldnt find one if so Admin delete this one thanks.
Does anyone know if waterbombers are doing drop practice near Northam this week? Ive seen several flying around up here over the past few days and was wondering if that is what they are up to?
Thanks

Re: DEC Waterbombers
They were out at a fire at Goomalling, so they would have been landing at Northam airport to refill as that would have been the closest airport to handle the 802 and have the water tanks there.

Fixed wings just flew over heading north, early start for them (0800) It's always a worry when they are heading out early and you have a few days of very hot and windy weather on the way. Even small fires today are creating potential ignition sources for wednesday and thursday when its going to be 37 and 38 with wind in the low to high 20's
