Called it to early on - not the big one that was originally reported... was only a small fire in the end, where 1st alarm would have sufficed...

Where abouts were you Singleton?
I would have rather had too many appliances rock up to the scene than two little. 1st alarm would call for a Pump / LT and possibly a 2.4 which in my view would not be sufficient.
The fire was running through the undergrowth quite quickly when the units arrived and took over an hour to dampen down when they brought it under control.
