Tuesday night around 10PM at the Carousel

Did anyone hear anything on the scanner about an offender being held at the Carousel on Tuesday night at around 10PM?

I assisted one of the security officers from the Carousel in apprehending a guy that was heavily intoxicated after he had badly assaulted another security officer. The operations manager phoned it in and a vehicle rocked up pretty quickly... the guys on the job were good, and copped a mouthful from the offender immediately and a bit of a shove which ended up in the cuffs going on in a hurry and a 'knee meets the back of the head' scenario.

I couldn't hang around as I had other obligations but left my telephone number with the security officer incase the officers wanted to speak to me. Nothing heard.

Hoping someone could tell me if they took him into custody?

I only heard the tail end of this, and I wasnt sure if it was a CD car or a JC car that had the POI in custody, and were taking him to Cannington....so i am sure someone with more info than i will write....

It definately wasn't a CD car that was first on scene... fairly sure it was a JC vehicle. However when we were leaving and driving out of the carpark another car rocked up priority 2, standard marked sedan.

Bit of overkill really. The original car had everything under control.

The guy was a lunatic. I've got a huge cut on my pinkie finger from when we took him to the ground. There was a broken bottle on the ground that I managed to land on.

Yorky, will you kiss it better? :P
