Brigade built tanker "Wagin 3", LT308 with R056, UT23.

Great pics there xr8edute =D> . Is the Wagin 3 tanker a 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive, and how many litres in the tank? When you turn-out do you radio as "Wagin 3", "Wagin Tanker 3" or "Wagin ? . ?R" or something else?

Wagin 3 is a totally brigade built and paid for unit. It is 2 wheel drive....and no power steering. lol

Our unit codes seem to change from time to time. When we operate as a stand alone brigade we run the UT as Wagin 1, LT as Wagin 2 and the old girl as Wagin 3.

Being failry isolated we dont have many interactions with other brigades but when we do, normally we run as Wagin UT and so on. The old girl will be called Wagin Town Tanker or simmilar at stubble and scub fires by the local bush fireys.

We are on the waiting list for a refirb 2.4, when that comes Wagin 3 will be pensioned off to a local.
