Car Vs Bike 12/12/09

Came across a cropper this evening, arriving likely seconds after it happened. Car had hit a push bike on a busy intersection.
Whilst rendering assitance to the person injured until paramedics arrived I was amazed by the help by bystanders offered. Within moments, two people mentioned they had called an ambulance, blanket had been procurred and placed over the person and someone placed their car blocking off part of the road so we wasn't sitting ducks in the middle of the road at dusk.
Sorry for the crud of an image, with all the assisting there was only time to take one shot. I couldnt remember the call sign, but I presume that its from traffic.
Also GW106 a new Toyota Hilux attended the scene.
