Which FESA frequency?

Hi all,

I'm based in St James right near the corner of Leech & Albany highway.
I've looked through the lists but not sure which is the best freq for me to listen to 6AR on.

Can anyone shed some light? I can do VHF (78mhz) on my scanner at home, but in the car I can only listen to the ~163mhz freq's.

Cheers
Bonez

G'day Bonez.

We're still nutting out the new WAERN system here, but for that area, give 164.000MHz a go.

You should be able to receive the Hackett's Gully (164.275) or Canning Mills (164.000 as Gav said) WAERN freqs easily from there. I get both full scale in NE suburbs
