Anyone know of some good freqs to listen too in reguards to Cyclone Glenda? Most of SES has been put on stand by to cope with the fallout, if the cylone come down this far. but it would be good to hear what happening up there, i would be there right now if i didnt have to work. Would have definately been a one for the srapbook....

I dont think there was any expectation that the cyclone would make it down here - they were always going for an impact on the Pilbara coast.
As for comms all the way up there - you wont hear any of it here in Perth.

There must be something in too it, they have activated all "metro units" for Severe storm impact in Perth, We have been advised to be prepared from early as Friday night for 5 days. Yes im guessing that they have what happened in Qld in mind, but either way they are expecting some fallout.
but as for comms do you think two cans and some string will work
