DTMF tone at the beginning of transmition?

Well, like it says above, when i begin transmitting, after approx 1 second in a DTMF tone transmits.
Any ideas on how i can turn this off?
(i have a Yaseau FT-60R)

Turn off the "WIRES" setting. It's the atom icon in the top right corner.

What Martin said, in case you reactivate it. Usually you can reassign the WIRES button to do something more useful.

I used to have that handheld, until i sold it.
I think you need to press the 2nd function button and then the button with the wires logo on it.
