Hi all.

Last night I spotted (I think) GC103 in the city.

I noticed it had a very interesting array of antennas on the top. As well the usual UHF whip for 468Mhz band and a mobile phone antenna it also had a RFI stainless steel ground independant antenna as well as one other. Was hard to see as it drove opposite me at an intersection :?

Curious if the digital trial is also happening with city vehicles too?

Speaking of digital.. I wonder if they are testing on Ch15 as I'm getting a lot of noise on that channel at times.

The digital system is at 502Mhz. The noise could be... anything. :-)

Thanks, didn't realize they were going to a new freq for the digital system. Do you or anyone else have the new digital freqs?

Yes to my knowledge the trial has started. However only in the Midland area.

Donga,

The 2 PTU unmarked VZ's also have small cell-net mobile phone aerials mounted on the rear windscreen sightly off centre.

It might be one of those cars.
