Extremely good effort there Smithy. Well done, I'm sure the truckie will only sing praises for BFS and FRS now that you were able to save the main part of his rig!

FRS wouldn't pump water into your tank so you could spray some?

Only Just lol. All of the heavys were kept busy and did not stop. A couple of the LTs were parked up for most of it but all the heavys were used to ferry water from the water point and supply the pump from the road.

im affraid a LT cant put out as much pressure as a MP or 4.4
Did however get on the end of 64mm for a bit protecting the cab

anyone that knows me will know I'm not the most enlightened person when it comes to cars, have had the back section exposed to the fire, would the truck have needed towing and some repair work done or did you manage to protect the most of that too?

I was listening to this from the beginning and I couldnt believe how any pumps were turned out to a truck fire!

We started heading to it but a much bigger job came up instead.

I heard that the cabin was not saved and that there was a water supply problem? Did anyone hear a dollar damage?

Great pics.

Edit: Why was only 1 Light Tanker turned out to a truck fire to begin with?

Light Tankers are next to useless at something like that. They become taxi's :P
