Each district in the metro area has a different prefix, eg
N joondalup
J canning vale
H midland
G city
Z mirrabooka
V freo
the second letter usualy reffers to what specific station the vehicle comes from.
but in this case its different , because traffic vehicles dont belong to one station , they usualy get a district call sign any AN AJ AH AG AZ AV call signs are district callsigns for the metro area and are usualy traffic , and the numbers in the call sign will either be 200(marked car), 400(unmarked car) or 700(mike bike).
im not the best at explaining things, but i hope this helps in some way

400s are detectives there is no district detective cars
just traffic (200s marked and unmarked) and bikes
