Around 2:00pm today a police car was transporting 2 POI's was somehow rear-ended. the police car hit was not to be aired on radio - as a direct order from VKI.

This happened on Thomas Street and Loftus Street West Perth - On Channel 34 - 468.675

Cars in attendance GL101 - AZ702 (On Road Supervisor) - GC113 - GL102 - GC103 - GC640 - FESA Crew and 2 x SJA.

POI's have been re-arrested and take to hospital with laserations. The lady from the car which hit the police car has also been taken to hospital.

I heard that too yesterday. I think they said someone ran up the back end of the car with the two arrests in. Either that or there were a few cars involved, causing a pile-up and the police car happened to be amongst it.
I heard them say there was a male with bad injuries to his arm also.

It sounded quite nasty the injuries that one of these guys had, it happened so quick as you say - so the full picture isn't quite clear - maybe anyone else may have heard the full beginning of the events.
