well i'm now the owner of an Icom R5.
I already own the programming cable (which also suits my Icom IC40s) so i've been using the software and i've found the programming quite easy with the PC. It's fairly sensitive, for a handheld scanner, and pretty quick to use. Scan speed of memories is pretty average but search speed is good. I love the alphanumerics!
and...
HOW SMALL IS IT!!!???
cheers
what Scanner to get?
What scanner to buy? What's the best antenna to use? Programming? Ask here!
