Seems a bit ironic letting car thieves wash a vehicle. Leaving the keys in it? tsk tsk. :P

I am with Schism on this one, why would they let car thieves wash a car? May not have had keys in it but still. Seems a bit stupid on the police side there.

One down - 2 to go....

Police have recaptured one of the three men who escaped from Wooroloo Prison Farm yesterday morning.

A spokesperson said 28 year-old Greg Marsden had been caught at a house in Yanchep last night.

The other two escapees are still on the run.

They are Benjamin Franklin Hansen, 23, who is described as being Caucasian, with hazel eyes, fair complexion, brown hair and is around 165 cm tall, and 23-year-old Derek Ross Humes, is described as being Aboriginal, with brown eyes, black hair, and is around 180cm tall.

He has tattoos on both his right and left upper arms.

The men had less than six months left to serve on their sentences for crimes including burglary and stealing.

An investigation is underway into how the three men managed to steal a prison vehicle they were washing and escape.

The spokesperson said as with all escaped prisoners, people should be aware that they may react in an unpredictable manner and they should not be approached.

Any sightings should be reported to police immediately.

Anyone with further information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
