cop hit by car!!Vic Park

Guys,Copper hit by car.Hit n Run outside Cheers pub in Victoria Park.Polair heading there as well.They.ve surrounded a house in Vic Pk not far from the scene.1 offender arrested.In the shower.
Coppers injuries not life threatening.Mainly sholder injury.Officer from UQ109.

Doogues, The police officer was more dragged by this car not hit by the car. As the below police statement says, his hand just got caught up in the seatbelt of the POI's car.

The way it came accross over the radio.The officer calling urgent said that the officer had been hit by the car.But remember what happens and what gets released to the media can be two different things.

After seeing the article on Channel Nine news tonight, I hope the officer involved isn't stuck in hospital too long and makes a speedy recovery ...
