I know that Narrikup appliances were at the Porongurup fire in February and that Forest Hill was used at the Perillup fire in January. Other than that, no idea.
According to the 2005/2006 Annual Report for the Shire, new appliances should be going to various brigades. Payments are according to the following info:

Narrikup ($215 000)
South Porongurup ($100 000)

Yep
Saw this yesterday. This vehicle has a slip-on job for Forest Hill Vineyard, west of Mount Barker. It was established as a vineyard in 1965.

Noted in a Shire of Plantagenet newsletter:
Porongurup BFS now have received a Light Tanker to go with their new 3 bay shed (to come). (Interesting to note it has regular beacons, not mini light bars so it's probably a refurbished appliance.)
Kendenup and Rocky Gully BFSs will get 2.4 Broadacre appliances.

See alot of those 'slip ons' about.. though all the ones I've seen were being used for spraying, not firefighting.
A plastic tank and hose that short isnt much good to you for fires...

Narrogin has a big old yellow fire truck, unsure what it is. I'm told if I want to use it, have to give 24 hours use to get it out of the shed, and not to use the siren as we get overtaken anyway

If that's the case, I did 6 Months of training on it for cadets back in 03

Quite possibly... the Byford crew drove it to Narrikup and donated it to the Brigade in 2003/2004 some time.
