Andromeda Cars ???

While listening to NE Metro (Midland) this arvo heard VKI calling for an "Andromeda" car. HM455?? called back saying they were an "andromeda" car in Jane Brook, but the VKI op said he was looking for the "Andromeda" car in Beechboro.
Is this some sort of new section/division/squad, or just the name of a particular operation (codenamed Andromeda).
Any ideas??

Does sound like a code name for an operation to me...
Although who knows, War of the Worlds was on last weekend. Could be part of the alien invasion
