WA Radio Scanner Users' Group

Looks like the Chinese President has shacked up at the Hyatt during his stay, judging by the large amount of Chinese Embassy-plated cars waiting at the side entrance, and the Police Units in the general vicinity of the hotel.

- 4x marked VZ Commodore wagons lined up on the grass between Adelaide Terrace and Hay Street
- TE205 patrolling the area (coming down Plain Street when I passed)
- 3x marked cars escorting the Chinese fleet to the side door of the hotel
- Foot police outside the hotel at the Plain Street entrance

This shot was snapped out of my rear view mirror while stopped at the Adelaide Terrace lights:

UQ cars care all VZ's, VY's have the small bullseye at the bottom of the headlight globe.

Does anyone know how long the Chinese PM is here for??

D'oh; I've updated the model

He's apparantly only here for 24 hours, so he's flying out tonight.

The embassy also appears to favour BF Falcons and Fairmonts as their chariots of choice... no shots of these, but they did have a unique numberplate design.
