This thing is a tank!
Saw this on the news a few months back, however haven't been able to get any shots of it in action at the airport due to their photography rules
Found
a page on the Rosenbauer site detailing info on the vehicles (apparantly these are now in use at most of the major airports in Australia).

G'day Brad,
What are the photography rules at the airport your talking about?
I'm a member of AEGWA and never had a problem, we all got issued with I.D. cards in 2004.

When I last asked about taking photos at the airport,
this page was pointed out.
If something has changed, or if there's a way to get issued with an ID Card (if it means joining AEGWA, then so be it!), then I'm all ears
Cheers,
-B.

I think the AEGWA photography permit card was just a one off thing. I'm know that we had to provide details and were assessed.
I think you'll find that link you've included is only applicable to commercial/business filming and photography.
I'd be very suprised if they could stop you taking pics at the airport if you were behind the fence-lines.
The only airport in the world that prohibits photography is CDG in France and then you can apply for a permit to get around it.

I seen this parked in the taxi bays at the domestic airport when I flew in about 2 months ago. Only seen it from a distance, had lights and all on.. Not sure if it was this exact one, but looked very similar, and just as big.
