hi

im looking into starting photography as a hobbie , but first i need a camera and computer , so i just thought id ask on here first to see what you guys thought about different camera makes/models and the computer might have to wait a few months

If you want to start off with a cheapy i have the pentax optio t30 (sp?) which is alright unless you want to take night shots, then avoid it like the plague.

We have 2 Canon's. Never missed a beat. Computer interface is easy to use. Haven't heard any negatives from others i know with Canon gear.

I too have two Canon cameras - an EOS350D TLK ($$$$$$) and an Ixus 400. Both are good little workers.
