Did anyone attend the search as either a member of WAPOL, SES, BFS, Civi, or other?
It was great to see so many people down there, the Metro convoy consisting of about 45 SES members arrived 20min after the 2 kids were found safe and well. Despite not getting out there, it was still great the way Metro deployed with less than 2 hours notice to get to Metro RHQ, including a number of members that came from Armadale. SES units in attendance that I know of.
Stirling
Bayswater
Bassendean
Cockburn
Metro
Canning/South Perth
Wanneroo/Joondalup
Belmont
North Shore
Armadale
Mounted Section
I've probably missed 1, there were also some country units from the area but I'm not sure which ones.

There'll be at least one person wondering why this isn't under Fesa: SES, and that's because the Police is the HMA (Hazard Management Agency) for Search, SES are just a combat agency (agency trained to carry out a task) for search.

On GWN they showed the Police Mounted Section with at least 2 horses and local FRS/BFS people there. Will try to watch the repeat for more info.

Righto no problems then Melville has been removed. Yeah at least 1 member from kalamunda ses came down, didn't see any metro BFS units there, just country ones. For anyone interested I was operating the radio for call sign, Bayswater 04.

I'm not an active scanner but I picked up this forum on a google search, and wanted to add a few names. I'm with Augusta-Margaret River Shire SES (and Karridale BFB).
AMR SES attended from late Sunday afternoon. There were lots of police already there, I'm afraid I don't know where they were all from. A helicopter with thermal imaging was active. Busselton Shire SES was already there. Early Monday Nannup and Manjimup SES joined in, as did lots of Shire, DEC, and fireys: I saw BFB people from Alexander Bridge, Bussleton, Cowaramup, Dunsborough, Karridale, Wallcliffe, and Warner Glen. Apologies to those I have omitted.
The number of local people who turned out was overwhelming, and when a coachload of volunteer SES arrived from Perth....
