Certainly am - My unit will be covering the South Perth forshore

For those who don't know - The paramedics won't go into the crowd - so if someone gets severly injured we have to extract them from the crowd, get them on our boat and up the river to a waiting ambulance.

Last year we did 8 emergency transports.

We also get the minor injuries out of the crowd to the first aid tent in or compound.

We even rescued a guy out of the river last year (A really drunk guy decided he would swim from the south perth shore to the CBD - and was promptly arrest by a copper on our boat)

Juding by the increasing size of the event each year - tomorrow should be great - really looking foward to it - will have my camera with me - Will try and get some good rescue shots for you guys.
