IRC chat dead?
Hello, saw in one of the Police threads that there was an IRC room on the AustNet server, however I've never seen anyone on there. Has it been abandoned, if so is there any other method of real-time communication? Thanks.

Old hat now I'd say. Not many people around here these days, popular in thing is Discord. Maybe setup a channel there and see if anyone wants to join.

Re: IRC chat dead?
I spent many, many an hour wasting time on IRC back in the day
Happy to pick things up on Discord if there's interest, I don't know a lot about it though.

I'd be more than happy if there was a Discord server, but it probably wouldn't appeal to many people who don't use Discord already.
