Anyone have any idea why though? I mean, RPH to PMH is very rare... More often its the other way around....

but why would they've gone from RPH to PMH and then PMH to RPH the first escort was just before six and then two hours later just before eight.

Can't find anything in the WA Police Media Releases and a 6 person prang would be HOT news. Plus never heard of an Ambulance getting a police escort between hospitals (P1 transfers happen everyday) last time I seen an ambulance go by it had its own lights and sirens

Indeed. However thanks to the work of many people, that father got a chance to see his child one last time which will at least be of some comfort I hope...
