Would be a good trick for a helicopter with no rotor blades installed....

The chopper - what ever it was - was flying faster than Rescue 65 and certainly had the shape of Polair - she over flew my place in South Perth at about 7pm or so..... Wonder if Doogues heard this chopper??

Yes Mr G I did and it was Rescue 65 went out on to my balcony to watch it fly over and can confirm it was Rescue 65.Sounds like your reliable source from Jandakot not so reliable.Hey Mr G

MrG,
Not sure you have been around aviation but Polair61 has a very distinctive engine sound. Has a lot of bass to the engine.
I can be sitting in the house and know what it is without going outside.
If they take up the State and Federal Government LPG conversion rebate and convert it to fly on LPG it would probably sound completely different.
Lift your game MrG otherwise you'll win the 2006 wooden spoon award.
