Protest rally againest Paedophiles.

Theres a protest rally planned for next Wednesday(16/08/06).To protest againest the growing number of Paedophiles and the lack of Goverment action.And to have the national list of Paedophiles made public.

I beleive it will start in the city and go up St Georges Tce to Parliment House.Not sure where the starting point will be.

Personally, I don't think the idea of a rally is going to change anything - but then again I tend to think that with just about any "Rally for ..." or "Rally against ...".
I also don't agree with any "list" being made public because of the chance of it being misused. (One example is a story in
The West a couple of weeks ago where a respected businessman had his reputation tarnished because he had the same name as a recently convicted paedophile.)

this rally is today at 12:30pm at Parliment House.So you'll hear cars heading there around 12.00pm or 12.15pm.

Nothing wrong with it at all - I didn't take Donga's comment to be a negative, I say that kind of thing to people all the time
In general, if someone sees a topic that they think would be better off in a different section of the forum, bring it to a mod or admin's attention and we'll take a look. Moving a thread is easy, all of about three mouse clicks to do...

I aggree with fastlane, there seems to be alot of of topic stuff in the WAPOL topic lately that should really be in general.

For those of you who may be confused this topic was originally in the WAPOL section so my comments about it being moved was meaning that it was being moved from the WAPOL section to general.
