Package found near Curtin House

Just walked out of work for lunch and there are a large number of Police and Curtin House employees standing outside of the rear entrance to Curtin House.

Beaufort Street is blocked off from the lights at the train station. Police blocked walkway into James Street and behind Curtin.

Spoke to one of the guys posted at the lights... he didn't say too much, only that a suspect package had been found. Loud evacuation sound coming from Curtin House. News crews on scene. GC101 parked behind Curtin, another GD rodeo is parked at lights and a sedan parked sideways across Beaufort just outside the front entrance (failed to get callsigns for these 2 vehicles)

Not sure if this is legit... perhaps a training exercise?

Not that I could see. I work directly across the road from the rear. As I walked out it was just happening... cops were heading out the exists and cars getting into position so FESA may be there now (I can't see from my floor unfortunately)

Yeah sorry I couldn't post earlier.. work has been hectic.

They packed up pretty quickly. What made me thought that it may just be an exercise was the fact that heaps of coppers were still standing in the actual rear carpark behind the gates and even in the 'loading' areas up near the doors.

I wouldn't like to be that workman right about now. :(
