I wonder if the list is based on fact or just vicious gossip and rumors. Mind you I have heard from many that there are individuals pulling the puppet strings to prevent people getting employed. Rather sad when you think about it.

Yeah however staff get snapped up by SJA eventually or Interstate or by mine contracts, hospitals etc. Its natural for someone to be wooed over by other services.
Im all up for being wooed over to a service. My applications have gone out. I just have to keep my fingers crossed. Just a foot in the door is all i need or a toe. Some can take up to 6 months to process.
but u were knocked back by sja vollies let alone sja.why not just keep working on road with ALAS until u get accepted by SJA or have you just contradicted yourself?

Well the thing is when I left ALAS, I had been advised by another service to fly interstate for testing. Which I have done, however I had been told that I had passed all the tests however my weight did not meet the requirements to come back later and do a re-test. So I'm working on bringing down the weight and going for re-testing. I have to be 75KG just to meet the BMI and Im 1.72m tall.
I also want to steer clear of SJA as I don't plan to stay in WA.
I have family and friends interstate.
so why not continue on road until its time to leave. It makes no sense. Should be getting as much experience as possible
