South Coogee
Mandogalup lt 1, 2 and 3.4
Most likely Success and/or Murdoch
Im unsure GK, i thought someone would have been giving updates so i wasnt taking note, and i didnt know about the fire until 15 mins after the pager had gone of, too late to go first turn out
Im unsure of the classification of the Atwell fire and the Wattleup fire, all i know is that DM's where going to both, and that at the wattleup fire they had a few vehicles including South Coogee 2.4

Appreciate your info JG - cheers... Smoke must be pretty bad - especially with Jandakot Airport to the North of the fire....JG-103 wrote:South Coogee

Kalamunda IC says fire is contained, helitacs released, still need the vehicles who are on the way, helitacs are goin back to base, so i reckon the Atwell fire is 3rd alarm
EDIT: Kalamunda 1.4 now turning out to Kalamunda fire- how come all there vehicles turn out at dif times ?
Kalamunda frs have arrived
EDIT: Just got a message from Chrisss who went ( ATWELL FIRE), says they are doing mop up, that there is a hug fire near by (must be the wattleup fire or kalamunda fire), says there is about 10 cop cars and vf601 at the fire, says 671 was at the fire, says about 5 DM's are there (dunno bout 5)
670 and 671 are back at base from the kalamunda fire.
EDIT: HELITAC 668 has departed the Atwell fire
EDIT: DM SE now back at the office, didnt even get to the kalamunda fire.

iv just never really heard vehicles from the same station turning out 5-15 minutes after one another is all, spose half of em where at work and what not.
Kalamunda ICV turned out 5 mins ago
EDIT: Hope Valley just gave a sit rep
Fire was 400mx 400 m most of which is under control
there was a gas pipeline running through the middle of the fire
caused an explosion- reason for them turning out
the pipelines saftey thing kicked in
gas company on the way to make sure its def safe
They will be there for quite a while he said.
Pretty gusty outside, no wonder we have these fires
EDIT: members of the public concerned about smoke coming from kalamunda fire, 6IP wanting to know if the fire is def under control and if rd closures are needed.
ICV is setting up, will give sitrep soon.
Kalamunda IC- says- Contained, mop up in progress, no running fire

I was at work at another incident but what I did hear today was Kalamunda VFRS turned their LT out first as they had trouble getting a pump crew immediately so atleast got their LT on the way. This is what they said over the radio and there pump did arrive a little after the LT. But as kylep said they usual go as one so just say kalamunda which is taken as pump and LTkylep wrote:re: Kalamunda, just quickly.

Thought someone would pick me for that. I only remembered the 1.4 at the last minute, have not had the pleasure of working with it. Also couldn't remember if they had managed to hold onto the 4 or 4 LTs as mentioned.Fastlane wrote: Kalamunda BFS only has 3 light tankers these days.
