The "what if" scenario is a bit silly though, you have to admit.
On average, one law enforcement officer is killed somewhere in America every 53 hours (April 2006)
It's a country where you can by decorated handguns out of woman's magazine, the cops over there can never be sure who is carrying. So when you have a woman going nuts there is a very real possibility she could whip out a hangun and shoot the officer.
An alternative situation is that she did have a gun and shot them because they didn't tazer her. It's a whole different ball game for coppers in america.
