Listening in on Channel 26 not much being said at this stage. TRG on the scene by the sounds of it.

I am a new user (but have been a regular reviewer) and didnt think to look up here.
Does anyone happen to know whats going on???
I have been listening on 26 since I got home (6.30pm) but haven't been able to work out whats going on. Obviously something of a big deal. I just called a friend and he said there was nothing on the news about it, however I saw both Channels 7 & 9 there (before 6.00pm), so maybe they weren't allowed to broadcast???

Anyone know what the go is with this?

I am new to all this and live close by.

Got the scanner going but cant seem to pick anything up related to this.

Its all quiet at the moment. Not heard much myself. Just heard slight talk on 26 clearing a red 4wd to pass the area but thats it.

so what's the frequency for chanel 26? (spot the dummy here!)

I am listening to my scanner quite nervously to see how this seige develops. I live less then 5 minutes form where it is and hope it stays there.

I live close too.... that's why I am so interested to hear what is going on. I have worked out it must be Katrine Way that they are staking out though, is that what you guys think???

Yeah either that or Fionn Street.

I'd be leaning more towards Katrine though as every walkway outta that street has at least one car on both ends.

Vehicles on Beach Rd and Rannoch Circle have been stood down

I would say its all over then if they are standing vehicles down.

I just walked past, and it's definitely still going. There are cars blocking each end of Fionn street. TRG have been in and out a few times. And its definitely in Katrine. Maybe they think the guy has a scanner???
