Given your recent banter about the BFS being so much better than FRS
I never once said that BFB are better than FRS, you and fastlane and what not presumed in your own minds that that was what i was sayin...
All i said is that it would have taken less time due to the fact that frs only have a lt and needs to be refilling up so often compared to that of a 3.4 from a bfb and what not...
NOT ONCE did i say BFB are better than FRS .. if i didnt have respect for the job frs, then why would i want to be in frs as a career ??? Sounds a bit stupid becoming an frs member if you dont have respect for them and what they do

Respect is a two way street. You will usually get the amount that you are seen to deserve. If you give people you engage with the respect they deserve, you will usually get it in return.
Damn straight its a two way street, so when a volunteer birgade (weather it be frs or vfrs or any other volunteer brigade) ask what u guys (frs or any other paid brigade) want us to do, dont go giving us attitude, we are giving up our own time to help you guys out and to protect the community, and if your going to be jerks to us as soon as we arrive and when we havent been rude or displayed attitude towards you guys, then expect the same...
Same can also be said between volunteer brigades, no one likes been given a bad attitude towards them. Treat the other brigade and their members the way you'd like yourself and your brigade to be treated.

and that no-one at an incident can make a good decision unless they are using BFS resources
Seriously where do u guys get these presumptions from
All iv been saying is that u need bfb's at a bushfire like that of whiteman park, sure frs could have handled that fire without BFB's, but then we wouldnt have had many frs brigades left to protect the community now would we, think logically...
You dont need a BFB at a car fire in order for them to make a good decision
nor at a house fire because bfb's dont have the experience nor training like frs do
nor at a mva.... etc etc.
BFB's have specialised in the area of fighting bush fires.. .you said it yourself

In some instances, this means that Volunteers are better equipped, trained and experienced in dealing with Bush and Scrub incidents than Career FFs.
and frs are specialised in their own area of expertise

There is no doubt that when it comes to dealing with many structure, CBR, Hazmat etc incidents, then Career firefighters should perform better than Volunteers, and certainly BFS FFs - as BFS are not trained in these
So when you have a massive fire like that, then why not use us (bfb) as soon as possible, yeah so the bfb NOR where streched, but there are bfb's willing to help SOR.

Also what iv been tryin to put accross this whole time is that if you guys (frs) have a volunteer brigade in your area, and your at a 2nd alarm bushfire or what not, then why not call them out, instead of having 3 frs brigades for example at a 2nd alarm bush fire with extra resources or what ever you want to call it, which then requires other frs brigades to cover them ( ie freo 1st coming down to rocko etc) and requiring crew change over and what not, when you could do it with just one frs brigade and a BFB or so... i dont see the logic in it.
Thats all iv been tryin to say, maybe i didnt say go about it the right way, maybe i didnt say it in the right way-maybe thats why you all got the wrong idea and got this presumption i was baggin out frs and what not when it was far from it..

As for respect for frs, trust me when i say i have high respect for them, weather u believe me or not i dont care, but i do, otherwise i wouldnt want to join them for starters.
If they (frs) treat us like dirt when we havent done anything to them nor provoked them, then as you said Kylep, its a 2 way street, expect the same.
As i said, i never once said that bfb's are better than frs, and im sorry if you got that idea from my posts, but thats not what i was saying nor what i meant by my posts
I think iv explained my self enough for one day
Oh yer and this isnt an attack on you Kylep, im just defending the comments you made against me
