Dont FRS vehicles have MDT's? The ones that always need a tech to fix em? Hopefully somebody can get a pic cause it sounds damn good.
Iv also been hearing rumours that the police using street cars as undercover cars to catch street racers, its a rumour but wether it has any evidence to back it up, i dunno.

I have it from the horses mouth that the digital system is still some years away. They are simply testing some equipment.
The MDT you saw in a one of the cars is just a test model, they cant use it for Police Dispatch or Police Systems such as CAD, NIS or IMS. It is only being tested by the company that is doing the project CADCOM.

The MDT's are being tested in the MIDLAND area at the moment and a few vehicles there are fitted with them
