Yep that's one of the things the FF based at Perth are not happy about. They're going to have to move some of the roles out of Perth simply because there is not enough space, nor will they cope with the extra appliances like Perth 4th and 5th in the height of the summer season. Unless the pull the CLP outside the back and have the extra pumps in the other bays.

I would have thought less so. The current/old station is out onto a one way street that goes into a weird intersection thus you have to go up or down a block to head to East Perth. At least with 2 way they can cross over and go the other direction if required. Hopefully they'll install manual controlled traffic lights similar to the ones currently outside perth, so that all traffic can be slowed and stopped for the turn out then once the last truck has left the bay it can be changed to green, or if necessary it be on a timer so after 1 minute of Red it'll go green.

Ahh just as I thought that stairway is going to come in handy for some excellent turnout shots, night time shots and what have you!
The Island has a cut out in it that allows the trucks to go both ways BUT as I was getting the last of my shots when a truck pulled out and went right a bus from the bus top across the road almost pulled out into it.

Took these two pics late last year at the height of the dispute over moving in to the new station.

i've been driving past it a few times this weekend and have made a few obvious observations that have already been noted.
there needs to be a set of TCL's. I've already noticed one truck struggling to get out because no-one was giving way (this may just come down to the mentality of perth drivers)
the bus stop opposite the station (west bound) needs to be moved. the trucks have no chance to pull out if a bus is stationary there, let alone battle other drivers trying to negotiate around the bus.
