I gave up trying to be normal a long long time ago. It was getting too boring and the voices were getting upset...Now I thrive on being "abnormal". Having said that, I can't use CB unless I'm on simplex in a convoy, can't be bothered listening to the repeater trash.

freq and power do pay a big part and it probably would have some ill effect eventually.. uhf at 5w in my face all the time wouldnt make me happy, mind you working with the 400w hf transmitters had me a little worried as well.
