Perth is designed for cars.

If you're a 9-5er going from the suburbs working in the city then the public transport system is actually pretty decent.

But try going east->west - even during business hours. My place to work is a bus, a train, a trek across the Perth train station, a train then another bus. Ugh.

hahaha. Reminds me of that movie (not sure the name, were james belushi is a school teacher in harlem) and the bus driver when he goes through the streets doesnt stop, he just opens the doors and the people run and jump into the moving bus!! Lol.
